DIAC Academic Partner Manchester Business School hosts information sessions for part-time MBA candidates in the UAE
Manchester Business School will host two information sessions for prospective students of the MBS Global Part-time MBA programme, on January 17th (Dubai) and January 24th (Abu Dhabi). Manchester Business School counselors will explain to candidates face to face the benefits of an MBA and the advantages of the part-time learning route. The UAE accounts for around 50% of the 2,000 part-time MBA students supported by MBS in the region.
The information sessions will explain the details of the MBS Global Part-time MBA programme, its curriculum and the admissions process. The programme has been re-designed to be achievable in two years, with options to accelerate further, and is now designed around four business themes. Visitors will also have the chance to discuss their professional profile and eligibility, as well as meet the MBS Careers & Alumni Relations Officer and network with current students and alumni.

MBS’ two-year Global Part-time MBA programme is now structured around four practical themes – Management in Practice; Value Creation in Business; Tailoring Your Journey; Professional Skills for Business. Students can also further personalise the MBA programme with a range of electives to suit specific goals and interests, and there are further options to accelerate the programme to 18 months. The MBS part-time programme provides as much face to face time with faculty as most full-time MBA programmes, with workshops hosted in Dubai.
Randa Bessiso, Manchester Business School – Director Middle East, comments: “With the regional economies restructuring for the post oil world, the MBA plays an important role for professionals looking to build serious long-term careers in business and management. All our students are already highly qualified, experienced working professionals actively looking to accelerate or switch careers, or move into more entrepreneurial roles and the MBA provides the tools and network to deliver immediate benefits in the workplace. The UAE continues to be the leading market for MBS MBA students from a wide range of industries and our information sessions provide the ideal opportunity for us to meet prospective candidates in person and discuss their career goals and the MBA opportunity.”
MBS already supports more than 2,000 part-time MBA students through the Middle East Centre in Dubai Knowledge Park, which is the largest and fastest growing in the school’s international network of six centres (Manchester, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Singapore and Dubai).
Manchester Business School is part of an elite group of institutions worldwide accredited by all three major bodies – AACSB International, AMBA and EQUIS.
