Mohammad Abdullah is the Managing Director of Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City . He is responsible for strategically steering all Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park academic entities and further consolidating their statuses as leading centres of learning excellence in the region.
Prior to taking this role, Abdullah was Managing Director of Dubai Media City and International Media Production Zone.
Prior to joining DMC and IMPZ, Abdullah was Executive Vice-President of CNBC Arabia, the premium business channel responsible for editorial and operational management. He worked closely with the CNBC CEO in guiding the company’s strategy, policy and implementation of its corporate vision.
Abdullah holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the Emerson College in Boston, US.
Ibrahim Moosa JamelDirector of Operations, Dubai Knowledge Park
Ibrahim Moosa Jamel is Director of Operations for Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City .
Ibrahim has more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources Management covering various fields of the HR profession in some of the largest and most dynamic public and free zone sector organizations in Dubai, Dubai Municipality and TECOM Group.
Ibrahim holds a Master’s Degree in Business, majoring in Human Resource Management from Queensland University of Technology, Australia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from EWU, USA.
Michael Trivett has significant experience in sales, business development and customer service in the US and in the MENA region. He has been leading the Partner Relations team within Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City for the past 8 years.
Michael has played a significant role in the growth of both Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City. He focuses on the business development of existing partners, customer retention and the strategic direction of the cluster.
Previously, Michael worked with State Street Global Advisors – one of the largest Asset Management firms in the world – where he was responsible for Sales & Business Development in the MENA region.
Brendan VynerMarketing Manager, Dubai Knowledge Park
Brendan Vyner is an Australian national born and raised in Perth, Western Australia and currently resides in Dubai, UAE.
He earned his Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Western Australia, majoring in Marketing & e-Commerce with a minor in Information Management. He has a Professional Education Certificate in Radical Innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and certifications from University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School of Business, in Leading People in Organisations and Strategic Thinking and Leadership Growth.
Mr. Vyner has over 13 years of experience in Marketing and Business Development in the UAE Education sector (K-12 and Higher Education), launching over 10 K-12 Schools in the GCC region and numerous universities.
Mr. Vyner is currently Head of Marketing in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and Dubai Knowledge Park (DKP), as part of TECOM Group. There are over 600 companies which come under him in the HR and Higher Education sectors. He is responsible for the marketing activities and branding strategy, as well as managing the PR, Social Media, Online, Events, Marketing and Branding for both groups.
Prior to this, Mr. Vyner worked in the UAE’s K12 education sector, spending 2 years with Repton School in Evolvence Education Holding and 4 years as part of the marketing team for GEMS Education, establishing a network of schools throughout the world.
Mr. Vyner is a highly motivated and focused professional with outstanding marketing, business development and communication skills. He has a wealth of experience in education, strategy development, marketing, business start-up, event management, business development, website management, training and much more.
